Questions with Kennedy
I got these questions as an email and thought it would be cute to ask Kennedy!
Why did God make mothers?
Because He everybody, even mothers.
How did God make mothers?
He picked up some sand and he blowed it.
What ingredients are mother's made of?
none ingredients. skin??
Why did God give you your mom and not some other mom?
Because he wanted to.
What kind of little girl was your mom?
You were like a sister, right?!
What did Mom need to know about your dad before she married him?
you need to know that he is a little bit older than you and that he is stronger than you.
Who is the boss at your house?
My mommy and daddy.
What's the difference between moms and dads?
They have different clothes and some wears glasses and some don't. And some have short hair and some have long hair.
What does your mom do in her free time?
Plays with me.
If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be?
It would be she would be left-handed.

January's End
Can you believe the month is almost gone?! I am so glad I have been photographing it all....it will be so fun to look back in 4 months and remember what we did!!!

Kennedy posed for a photo! Grandma Lori gave Kennedy this sweater for Christmas so we wanted to show her how it looks! Sorry about the clashing hairbows Mom!
But the day ended sadly for Miss K. She fell off the kitchen chair and smacked her lip on the hardwood floor. It swelled right up...but she got a popsicle to help. This morning it was back to normal!

I almost forgot to take a photo this day! So I snapped this one! Jeff and I love to watch 24! But we forgot to DVR a few episodes. So we watch it thru the computer onto the TV. ;)

Gravity
Ugh. Gravity. It is definitely pulling me to the ground lately. I have so been relating to this amazing song by Shawn McDonald lately. Take a listen...
Thank goodness for Pastor Clint's message this past weekend...it was entitled "UP." We were challenged to set our focus on things other than our problems and to focus on Heavenly things. So easy to say, some days hard to do.
Coll 3:1-2 " Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things."
Psalm 121: 1-2
"I lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of Heaven and Earth."
Psalm 34: 4-6
"I sought the Lord and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor man called, and the Lord
heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles."
As I have stated numerous times before, I believe God hands up adversity for a reason. So, I will not let gravity get to me, nor my fear or trials. I will keep my eyes and heart on Him.
Psalm 69: 32-33
The humble will see their God at work and be glad.
Let all who seek God's help be encouraged.
For the Lord hears the cries of the needy;
He does not despise his imprisoned people.

This photo is really poor quality but I love it just the same! I love the Logan is a total silly blur and Kennedy has this funny smirk on her face...not to mention goggles on her head! We all had fun at Aunt Kate's birthday party that night!
Oh and a fun little tidbit for you. As Kennedy was finishing brushing her teeth tonight she saidl "This has really good scrubbing action!" Not sure if she meant the toothbrush or toothpaste -but it was cute all the same!

This was the entryway hallway pretty much all day. Just thought it would be fun to capture some toys that Kennedy plays with. :)
And just a shot of Copper....chilling in the kitchen!
Jeff and I have lots going on in our lives right now and are feeling quite overwhelmed. I have been spending time thinking on these scriptures and just wanted to share them.
24 Be brave. Be strong. Don't give up.
Expect God to get here soon. (Psalm 31:24 The Message)
13-14 I'm sure now I'll see God's goodness
in the exuberant earth.
Stay with God!
Take heart. Don't quit.
